Three glorious nights with the bold and the beautiful queen of African Music, Simphiwe Dana.
The Artistic Director of this musical concerts will be Choreographed by the highly talented Gregory Maqoma under the musical direction of the skillful Titi Luzipho, MOYA will be staged at the Mandela at Joburg Theatre from Friday 3 until Sunday 5 March 2023.
The inspiration behind the production stems from spirituality, healing and togetherness. Be prepared for an evening of soul searching.
It is a blessing to have experienced such talent in our generation, she has shared stages with prominent, well respected international and local artists. Growing up she felt too insecure to speak up however she finally managed to let it all out through music. Not only is she just a powerful songstress, she's an activist that advocates for women's equality and so many other discriminatory plight that women face.
We are greatful to be a part of this journey of her musical mastery that includes artistic, jaw dropping choreography that will leave the audience inspired.
